30 Year 6, 7 and 8 students have been attending MiniMUN regularly on Wednesday nights. The debates have been chaired by Senior school students under the excellent leadership of Aisha. Topics for debate this term have included

“No one under the age of 12 should be allowed a mobile phone because of the potential health risks,” and “All countries in the world should ban any form of testing on animals.”

The level of debate has been really high this year with many students having researched their country’s view.

The final debate of this half of term was held in the Great Hall set up ready for the school’s MUN conference. Students enjoyed speaking into the microphones and debating in the General Assembly.
