6 Royal Russell students – including Michelle, Maria, Georgia and Elysia – attended the Christ’s Hospital Security Council conference last weekend. All six spoke many times in their councils putting forward amendments and playing a full role in the debates. Particularly impressive were Bart and Callum who represented the UNHCR and deservedly won one of the highly commended delegation awards. The students enjoyed the full Christ’s Hospital experience including watching the students march into lunch, a full chapel service and – the highlight – a candlelit black tie diplomatic dinner.
