Twenty-two Royal Russell students attended the 4th annual Benenden MUN this December. Competing against mainly Sixth Form delegates from top independent schools our students had another excellent conference with every student speaking at least twice in their committees. Every committee had three awards – two highly commended and one outstanding delegate. Michelle (Year 10) representing Kenya and Kaitlin (Year 12) representing USA both won highly commended delegate awards in their committees and Sam representing North Korea (Year 10) and Barty representing Fatah (Year 8 ) won the prestigious outstanding delegate awards.
