This was the most hectic day to say the least. All the Presidents of GA, Head of Security and Admin had to welcome the delegates and advisors. Whilst we were doing this all of us managed to entertain ourselves by creating walkie talkie nicknames. Kourosh “Grand Puba” Tabrizi and Charlotte “Bullseye” Tomlinson were just a few of the names created which stuck with for the whole conference. After we welcomed the delegates, the delegates were straight into their committees trying to get resolutions signed whilst the Presidents of GA were preparing for the opening ceremony which was very successful and saw many interesting opening speeches.
