The five Royal Russell students attending the Dublin based SAIMUN conference have made a great start to the conference. Tola made the opening speech for the Russian Delegation challenging the other delegates’ perception of the problems in the Ukraine and quoting Putin; “sometimes it is necessary to be lonely when you are right”.  All the students made excellent policy statements in their committee and have  thrown themselves into the debates. Already David and Maria have had their resolutions debated.
